11th Street closing 10 p.m. tonight for snowmobile stunt show

Snowmobile stunt show at Super Bowl LIVE and livestreamed 1:30 p.m. Saturday

Eleventh Street downtown closes from Marquette Avenue to LaSalle Avenue at 10 p.m. tonight for a snowmobile jump at Super Bowl LIVE and will reopen by 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 4.

The following bus routes will be detoured:

·         Routes 10, 25, 59, 587, 589, 645, 664, 667, 668, 670, 671, 672, 673, 674, 677, 756, 765 and 852.

Metro Transit riders will need to use marked stops at these locations:

·         Third Avenue and 11th Street (Routes 10, 25, 59).

·         Marquette at Ninth Street, Stop B (Routes 587, 589, 645, 664, 667, 668, 670, 671, 672, 673, 674, 677, 756, 765 and 852).

·         11th Street and Harmon Place.

These bus stops will be closed:

·         11th Street and Marquette Avenue.

·         11th Street and LaSalle Avenue.

Snowmobile stunt show Saturday, Feb. 3

Polaris UpsideDowntown runs 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, and includes snowmobile stunts, meet and greets with snow athletes, giveaways and other outdoor fun in the Bold North. The snowmobile stunt show will take place at 1:30 p.m., culminating with Levi LaValle’s signature jump over Super Bowl LIVE on Nicollet Mall at 11th Street. Find more information on the event here.
