Interactive football theme park coming to the convention center for Super Bowl LII

Super Bowl LII is much more than the game itself. A growing list of options to get involved with festivities now includes Super Bowl Experience at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The family-friendly event will feature interactive games, youth football clinics, merchandise and autograph sessions. Super Bowl Experience is open daily from Saturday, Jan. 27, through Saturday, Feb. 3.

Tickets went on sale last week and cost $35 for adults and $25 for children ages 12 and under. A ticket permits entry for a specific date and time and includes the opportunity to:

  • Experience NFL games using virtual reality technology.
  • View all 51 Super Bowl rings up close.
  • Take a photo with the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
  • Learn football skills from professionals during clinics.
  • Run the 40-yard dash against National Football League players on a giant LED screen.

To beat the lines, consider going earlier in the week as the event becomes busy in its final days. You can also purchase an SBXrtra fast pass for $55, which allows priority access to certain attractions.

A range of events in the city to enjoy during the 10-day festival Jan. 26-Feb. 4 also includes Super Bowl LIVE on Nicollet Mall, a free 10-day festival leading up to game day featuring free live concerts, food and other activities for local residents and their families to enjoy.
